The Very Best NFL Rookies Of 20 17

When I am not out traveling into new destinations, I love maintaining with football, notably because every NFL season has its very own pair of surprises. Almost always there is something that I don't expect. This past Year, Ezekiel Elliott and also Dak Prescott stole the show to get the Dallas Cowboys. This calendar year, Zeke is coping with some suspension play. In addition, you'll find new NFL rookies who have burst on the scene to steal the show for themselves and the teams that they play for.

This past year's college football season ended with Deshaun Watson leading the Clemson Tigers over Alabama. Alabama is such a power house in the college football world that it looks just like the whole world celebrates once they actually lose. {Watson made that happen. Now he is on the Houston Texans, and is now probably one of the most exciting rookies to watch in 20 17. There are a few additional NFL rookies that are also making a major splash in their very first season.

Deshaun Watson

Only because he's at QB, Watson has been one of the greatest surprises with the rookie class. It's not because nobody expected him to succeed, however because it's so much harder to transition at the QB position than as arb. Watson failed to start his very first week, but was moved into as soon as the newcomer Tom Savage proved incompetent. Watson has been scoring touchdown after touchdown and hasn't looked back since accepting the starting job. {He would likely lead his team to a division title this year.

Kareem Hunt

Hunt was the one that nobody saw coming. He had been drafted in the 3rd round at 86th complete from the 20 17 draft. In fact, he was the sixth running back once again to become selected. Looking back, the only real person which actually makes sense is Fournette, who seems to be a generational player. Hunt has outperformed all the other NFL rookies, and even Fournette for the most part.

Leonard Fournette

Taken in no four over all, Fournette achieving so well isn't exactly a surprise. However he's living up to his own expectations, that have been quite high. The one question mark surrounding the running back out of LSU was how his foot injury that ailed him in college was going to hold up in the NFL. So far he seems to be doing alright, as he's had touchdowns of 75 yards or more this season.

Evan Engram

They say it's extremely difficult for tight ends to transition to the pro's. Engram is more of a hybrid than a true TE, however, he's still technically listed as a TE on the depth chart. The Ole Miss product runs around a 4.4 40-yard dashboard. There are lots of different metrics to take into consideration when scoring a participant than only the 40, however being that fast at 6'3" is going to build mismatches against any defense.
